Bimeda Holdings Plc (Bimeda) has announced the acquisition of a majority shareholding in Mogivet Farmaceutica SA (Mogivet), an Animal Health Company based in Monte Mor, Sao Paulo, Brazil.

Mogivet manufactures and markets a wide range of products to the Animal Health Sector in Brazil.  Mogivet has sales of $17m and employs 105 people in R&D, Manufacturing and Sales.

Growth in the Latin American Market is a strategic objective for Bimeda and this Investment gives it access to the Brazilian Market, as well as manufacturing capability in the Region.
